Playing online Keno is similar to picking lottery numbers. This game is based on pure luck and that's why Keno pro will have the same chances as the Keno beginner. However, in order to understand the game process one has to know the rules. That concerns all online casino games. Once you understood the rules and maybe had a little practice in "play for fun" version of the online casino you are ready to participate in the cash games.

It's easy to understand how Keno is played. Official Keno rules state that the game should be played on a card with a field of 80 numbers. Players select numbers (aka "spots") on the field that they wish to bet on and then wait for the draw. The more numbers players pick the bigger the prize will be, but in this case it is getting harder to win. In online Keno the draw is done electronically.

Online Keno Standard Bets

Standard bets are available anywhere Keno is played.

Straight Tickets: Playing straight tickets means selecting numbers players want to bet on and wait for the draw. As a rule, players are allowed to bet on 1 to 15 numbers, but there are exceptions - some of the online casino allows players to bet on as many as 40 numbers on the Keno card.

Combination tickets: Playing combination tickets means combining groups of straight bets on one ticket in different ways. Players have to pay one unit bet for each possible combination.

Split tickets: Playing split tickets means playing two or more games on the same Keno card. Players are allowed to choose two (or more) groups of numbers and divide them with a line or circles. If you bet a certain amount per group you total bet will be this amount multiplied by the number of groups.

Way tickets: Playing way tickets means betting on several groups of numbers on the very same Keno card. It's the hardest bet to understand in Keno online. For one thing players have to decide how many combinations of numbers from the groups they've chosen they want to bet on. Then all the bets made must be computed to fractions players place to the right of the betting field to count the cost of their bets and add the numerators. This can be complicated for the beginners, but with time they'll understand. It's not that hard.

King tickets: Playing king tickets means playing way tickets, but this time players select one or more numbers called "King numbers". While playing king tickets players are allowed to to circle king numbers, while the groups are still circled as groups.
