Gambling magnates are looking forward to a new poker bill, which would allow the states to decide to which extent to restrict or to allow online gambling. Chief executive of the American Gaming Association says that we are closer to federal gambling legislation than have ever been. He's optimistic about the perspectives of online casino games in the USA and assumes that the introduction a new poker bill can take place within a year and it'll bring more freedom to the states granting them the right to have a local gaming legislation.
In spite of the indictments filed against the main American poker companies this April (they are accused of fraud activities and of making the banks process gambling money), the fact remains: the Americans want to play online casinos and they are ready to deposit money at offshore online casinos. The sum annually wagered by the Americans at online casinos is approximately 6 billion dollars and many legislators try to convince the Congress that this money could make a lot of good to the US economy.
